Submitting OINP application during work permit expiration

Hi,

My work permit is expiring on Mar, 19th 2024. I have received my Oinp NOI letter on feb 8th. I will be applying for my work permit extension in next 1 or 2 weeks. Can I apply the Oinp application without the Work permit ext acknowledgement or should I need to provide the ext acknowledgment when submitting the OINP application?

Please suggest on this scenario.

I suggest to apply first your WP extension and provide the AOR of WP extension as "other" document. This will help to avoid delays when they review your application. I assume that it is the same employer you are applying for the WP extension and the one you have declared on your ITA that will sponsor you.
OINP is "Employer driven" and if they see that your WP is expiring and you haven't applied for an extension with the same employer they might ask additional info in the later stage.
