Hi,

When I submit my "Application for Permanent Residence" form at Buffalo, do I have to also submit originals of any of the documents they are asking for?

I think the documents they are asking for are (according to the guide):
1. Birth Certificates
2. Marriage Certificates
3. Passport
4. Technical/Vocational certificates
5. Degree certificate
6. Transcripts (these are in university sealed envelopes)
7. Certifications
8. Employment contracts
9. Letters of reference
10. IELTS score
11. Settlement funds
12. Police certificate (these also have to be originals)

Can someone who has already done the application please let me know which ones need to be originals and which ones do not have to be?

thanks in advance
alex

Alex,

The following documents need to be submitted in original...
1. IELTS Score sheet
2. PCC
3. Letters-Statments from Banks/Copies of Pass book stamped & signed by your bank
4. Letters or commendation or Reference letters

The other documents mentioned in your list like birth cert, school-college transcripts, work experience letters etc., should only be copies and notarized.

Mike.

If I submit original birth certificate, will they return the application package? I have international birth certificate on French language.

notarised copy of birth certificates are enough.. PCC is police clearence certificate...

Is it strongly forbidden to send original international birth and marriage certificate on french language ???
