Hi
Could one of you let me know if I need to submit my orginal set of documents or certified copies of the same would fullfil the requirements. If I had to submit the originals, would they be returned back to me after the process is complete (approx how long)?

6. EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
• Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or
diplomas;
• College or university documents: certification of completion and the
graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and
the evaluation committee;
Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in universitysealed
envelopes.• Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications
certificates should be submitted if available
. (e.g., Engineer, Computer
Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)

one person got through with certified copies but they do ask for original so you should try send original. If your visa office doesn't accept certified copies then you might get rejected for something as small as this. Why take the chance?

If you have only one set of originals, you can usually get another original from the university or even get the university take a photocopy, stamp it, put it in an envelope, and stamp the flap of the envelope. that should work cause that is an original stamp on the copy. what do other members think about that?

If you are from pakistan, then there is a way to send copies instead of originals but you need some ministry stamp.

Is transcripts mandatory for everyone. can a Marksheet (notarized) would not do? Thanks
