Recently, I've seen many students from Iran who were submitted their applications on May and got their AIPs these days, although they are still some students for Jan/Feb that haven't got any update on their profiles. Please let us know if you get any update and news from the IRCC. Thanks!

I had applied on 6th of May, however no update since.
Some people who submitted at the end of May got their AIP last week.

Submitted a full application on 24th January 2020
Biometric done 29 January
And the las thing on my profile is that:"we are processing your background check we will send you a message if we need more infirmation ."
and still no update after that.

Hi, I received my AIP on August 13th. My timeline is as follows:
Application submitted: May 20th
Biometrics Requested: May 22th (I haven't done my biometrics yet)
Eligibility status: The status changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" in the same day that I receive my AIP.
Background Check status: "we are processing your background check we will send you a message if we need more information."

Eligibility review started on August 25
Still waiting for decision. Also I haven’t done my biometric yet .
