There is nothing that stands out but if your consultant prepared this, and if he used a similar template for his other clients, then it could be easily found out that this is a copy paste job, and you're SOP will not be taken seriously. What do you feel is wrong ?
Hi, I recently faced the same issue and got my student permit application refused due to purpose of visit, financial status and family ties in Canada and in country of residence . My blood relation relative includes my aunt, who is my custodian and is a canadian citizen( I filled in the custodian declaration form). I'm applying for undergraduate studies in Canada, what would you think the reason is behind my refusal? I mentioned my my aunt being a canadian citizen in the SOP/LOE. Additional factors for which I was refused for was based on financial status, this may have been because my bank statements were not of the past 4 months and were in a different currency to CAD. I was also refused for purpose of my visit. Kindly assist me.

You bank statement has to be from the country of residence ? where are you currently living ? if you are applying away from your home country, then you will face more issues with getting a study permit. If you want to know the exact reason, you need to get a CAIPS notes, that will tell you the exact reason.

My country of residence is Kenya, but my bank statements were of Indian banks. However it was not mentioned that the bank statements need to be from the country of residence and not citizenship.
I am in the process of attaining the CAIPS note.
What is your country of citizenship then ? CAIPS notes will tell you. It will be better if you have bank statement of your country of residence. If you are getting CAIPS notes, then I would suggest to wait for that.

Indian citizen, residing outside the country and applying from outside India. Alright will check with bank statements. Yeah, i am getting CAIPS notes and will wait for the review. Which CAIPS provider is the best in your view?

I have not personally used any CAIPS provider, so I can't personally recommend. I hear CAIPS GCMS around the forum a lot. All the providers are going to ask the Canadian govt , and they are all going to get CAIPS notes just as slowly. I don't think it will make a huge difference for just getting the notes. If you want it interpreted, or you want them to make an SOP, then the different providers may have different levels of service.

But do you think that mentioning my blood relation to my aunt who is a citizen in Canada may have led to the refusal of "family ties in Canada and in country of residence"? I mentioned in SOP/LOE and attached custodian declaration form

Direct relatives are only counted, aunts are not. Mother, Father, brothers and sisters if any are the direct relations. If your aunt is your custodian, then you will have to mention her in your SOP, this is necessary for you to enter canada, assuming you are a minor.

Alright, I previously mentioned it and gave proof through custodianship declaration form, but it was still rejected. So do i have to explicitly mention that I do not want to move there through their help and will not stay there as i will stay on campus residence? What is the best solution for this point?

You can make a statement that you intend to leave Canada after your studies end. I would suggest to wait for CAIPS before modifying your SOP.

Hi members please advise,i applied for study permit online on 22nd april.in the optional documents ,i also added temporary residence visa application. My application has since been rejected basing on the temporary residence visa which was not my primary application. The letter of refusal stated that MY application for VISITING visa could not be granted and am thinking that my STUDY permit application was not considered.i have a strong conviction that when reviewed for study permit, i stand a chance of getting it.how best should i adress this issue?study permit applications usually take 9weeks here and my decision was made within 2weeks and as such i believe they processed a wrong visa and i regret why i had o include the application for TRV.kindly help

Hi

My spouse Study permit got rejected twice.. First time his visa was applied on April, 2018 from Australia, and this year he applied in the month of May from India and yesterday we received his rejection mail.
He has an admit from UBC and he deferred his admission from fall 2018 to fall 2019 after the first rejection. Some how the Visa rejection for the first time can be justified as we were not able to support our file with proper financial documentation and we applied for SP and dependent WP simultaneously which may have resulted to our rejection-
The reasons for the first rejection is mention below-
1. ties back in India
2. leaving Canada at the end of your stay
3. Insufficient financial resources to finance the cost of your studies in Canada

But this time we have worked on the finances part and also this year my spouse only applied for his SP. But yet again it is rejected based on the below reasons-
1. leaving Canada at the end of your stay
2. Insufficient financial resources to finance the cost of your studies in Canada.

Though we have declared an amount quiet higher than that of the living cost during his stay in Canada, tution fees etc. We had a loan from Prodigy of around INR 31.5 L approved and INR 10.5 L preapproved , personal savings of INR 20 L, Family support of INR 12 L. But still

Need you suggestion regarding a few thing-
1. In his SOP do he need to mention how he have worked on the reasons that CIC has provided as the rejection reasons for my SP rejection and reapply with more funds as back up from his sponsor?
2. How long should his SOP be?

Please let us know your suggestion as we don't want to miss the Fall 2019 deadline. He will not be allowed to defer his admission again...Looking forward to hearing from you sonn.

Thanks & Regards
Ishita

Hello Seniors,

I applied for a study permit with my 2 years old daughter, two months ago and was refused. My husband is my sole sponsor and he included his Company's bank statements, Savings bank statements, along with joint and personal assets and my personal bank statements. Reasons for refusal is stated below:

. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as stipulated in sub section 216 of the IRPR based on the purpose of your visit.

. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as stipulated in sub section 216 based on your personal asset and financial status.

We are trying to reapply and we are awaiting GCMS notes request from IRCC. I was accepted for a one year program. I'd like to know if its possible to change my course of study to a two year program while reapplying? I'm thinking of choosing a different program entirely. I hope this won't affect the new visa application based on my personal story in previous application. A candid advice will be appreciated.
Regards!

Hi,
Im an International student in Turkey. Applied for a transfer to canada but visa got refused.
1) immigration status
2) purpose of visit

Completed two years in bachelors degree in Turkey
Ielts 8.0 band
Submitted 1 semester fee into my canadian university
I applied online from turkey. Do you think I should apply online from home country?
Im applying again, Any suggestions?
Specifically how can I loose the immigration status objection. I can go to my homecountry and apply feom there if it helps.
I dont have time for VO notes
I would really appreciate a wuick reply.
Thanks
To avoid rejection based on immigration status, you should apply from your home country. You must be physically present in home country.
