Hi there!

Hope you' redoing well (as much as this pandemic allows us, of course!)

I completed my online application through the IRCC website on April 30th (I mean, I didn't send my application to NY neither LA). Then, I sent my biometrics on July 23 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. My profile was updated with the biometrics info almost right away, it has the day when it was done... however when I read the "Details about my application status" it says that THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED my biometrics... Is it normal? I don't need medical results, they don't need additional documents from me, either an interview...

So, if someone has an idea about processing times for study permit (for students considered essential*) and any other information, it will be great! Also, how can you know about which US visa office is processing your study permit? I have been told through the Webform that my application request has been forwarded to the responsible office.

Like most of us, I am anxious about time since I need to be in Canada by the beginning of Septermber ...

Hi there:

We're on the same page! My biometrics was completed on August 27th. I recently got a letter from IRCC stating that I pass to the next phase (spet 2). Basically, I just need to get the final approval...
Does anyone know if there is any possibility that travel restrictions will be lifted for January 2021? :(

Mostly college might provide a travel letter so that we can travel... but for September it is a no no i suppose.
