Study Permit overstay Help!

Follow these steps:
1) Enrol yourself in next semester, get the acceptance letter of the university
2) Get your academic advisor to write a brief letter mentioning how many courses you have left for your program
3) Write them a explanation letter on your behalf, giving them a solid reasoning why you were not able to attend school for last good year and a half
4) Apply for your study permit extension + restoration of your status (can be done within 90 days of your study permit expiration)
Once you apply, you will be on implied status which means you are still legally living in the country.
Then hope for the best, that is all you could do at the moment as far as I know.
P.S if you are working at the moment, I would highly suggest you stop or they are going to find out and might even issue you an exclusion order (removal order)
Good luck, make sure to apply within 90 days from the expiration of your study permit. If you don’t then you would have to leave Canada one way or another

If you haven't been studying since January 2019, you're long since out of compliance with your study permit conditions and should have left Canada ages ago. No way you can stay now.
You don’t know that for sure, if he had medical reasoning or have taken absence of leave from school. There’s still a case
I’m not saying it’s guaranteed but it wont hurt to try.
Buddy you can’t determine the outcome, he is still eligible to apply for restoration and if he has solid reason to back up his absence from school, there might be a possibility of getting his status back.
Please don’t outright give your decision here.
Are you sure the school never reported you as not attending. If you apply for restoration and study permit extension I don't believe you are considered as having implied status since you are out of status. If your status is restored that would be different.
What was your reason to stop attending classes? For that it would depend what you can do from here
You are going to be on implied status if you apply for extension+restoration within 90 days of your study permit expiration.

This is my own understanding of this CIC rule. Please correct if Im wrong
1)Student must leave Canada in 90days if student stop attending school. It doesnt matter the expiry date on study permit. If not pursuing studies student needs to leave country.
2)If student wants a "leave of absence" they must request it from the school. They can get 150days.
3)Yes, student can apply to restore permit now, but more than likely it will be a refusal, as 150 days has passed.
The refusal will arrive with a letter to leave Canada immediately (within 7 days??)
4)School has student enrolled still but CIC expects student to know the rules of their study permit. "I didnt know the rules," "I got confused,"etc. may not be a good answer
5)situation worse if student has been employed after stop going to school when CIC checks SIN
If successful with restoration i think student must pay school international fees if they did not withdraw at a certain date
