Hello,


I went back home but I forget my study permit in Canada. In this case can i reenter Canada at the border without presenting my study permit? or can they at the border print a new one for me?

You did not tell us if u have completely enrolled, issued ID, cards etc. This will enable member to know how to advise u.

Study permit is the document that gives you legal rights to study in Canada. Most probably you will need to apply for new TRV (if your is not multiple) to re-enter Canada.

I do have every thing, I'm just returning student. I went home for a few weeks. my study permit is valid, the only issue is that i don't have it with me right now

If you have a roommate staying along with you, cant you get it couriered somehow!?

If u have visa on ur passport & school identity card, SiN etc. Since u are not fresh student u shld be able to enter without problem. Pls student inside contribute.

AS long as you have a valid TRV, you shall face no difficulty. Permits (Be it study or work or tourist) defines your purpose of stay in the Country.
YOu shouldn't face any difficulty, however it's worth calling CIC and confirming it with them.

And as one of the users rightly pointed out that you can ask your roommate to courier your SP to you if possible.

If you a valid TRV + PP, you can quote your UCI number at POE, they will have access to your SP on system. Still no guarantee.

Thank you everybody for your valuable information. But for those who told that i should be OKAY entering Canada without showing my Study Permit. Are you sure about that?

Because I tried to contact with CIC by phone and email the Canadian embassy in my country but I didn't get any response yet!
