Study Permit - From Pakistan - Advise Needed Regarding Financial Proof

Hi All,

I am applying for coming Fall admissions. I understand that I have to prove availability of funds equal to Fees + 10,000 CAD. My problem is that in my own bank account, the funds are around 6,000 - 7,000 CAD short. My brother and brother in law have offered to help me with this.

What should I do in this case?
1-Ask them to give me a letter / Affidavit of support?
2-Ask them to transfer money in my account?
3-If choose option 2, then how soon it should be or how late can it be, keeping in mind the 4 month statement requirement?

Get the funds transferred to your account and wait for 4 months..then get the statement and apply. It's better not to go with the first option

Is it important that the transactions (brother's and brother in law's) should not appear on 4 months statement?
Do I have to justify the amount in my own account? Show source of income?

see you must meet the minimum financial requirement as mentioned on CIC site and you have to maintain that requirement for 4 months. if you dnt do it, they might reject your application. dnt withdraw the amount untill VO made their decision. VO might check the account.

My confusion is that my bank statement should show adequate funds during all 4 months or in the closing month of the statement?

Do I have to show the source of the money in my account?

Which college/uni are you applying and in which course?

for all the four months. i am not sure if the proof of funds has to be shown or not.

if your brother has enough funds for your education then show his bank statement...and show yours too...because I think if you will transfer your brother funds into your account you will not have a proof of income to show...so better to show your brother statement with affidavit that He will support you in your studies and his job letter to show the proof of income..
