Study Permit from Abu Dhabi

My Application was submitted Last Year Feb,2015 and i have got my BioMetrics Application in August 2015 after giving bio i have got reply from Abu Dhabi Canada Embassy for Passport Submission on 4th May,2016 But didnt get Letter of Introduction.

Whaaaaat! More than a year .

Btw. Just saw the cic website. The processing time in uae is now reduced to 10weeks

why it took you a year to get your Student permit?? well, atleast you got an approval. Congratulations

Chu 12, i wonder why they asked you to go for medical. Im a Filipino too and a resident of UAE. Normally they wouldnt require medical exam for residents of UAE. Anyhow, have you done it yet? Hope you get the visa.

Maybe because im a nurse po kaya nagrequire cla ng medical, more than 5 months na wala pa po yun visa ko.

I applied on the 29th of June from Abu Dhabi via paper. Looking at the extended waiting time for Abu Dhabi i wonder if i'll get an answer in time as i have applied for the sept intake.

That is very late in my opinion. Minimum is 12 weeks from the UAE. Hopefully you get a reply back :/

I applied since 4th April through VFS it has been 13 weeks now and the processing time on CIC website states processing time is 12 weeks. Should i be expecting an update soon? Has anyone applying from Abu Dhabi got an approval? If so, how long did it take?

I applied on 21st of April through Abu dhabi vfs and still waiting for their decision ...
You can send them a case specific enquiry and hopefully they will reply to you soon. I will do that next week.
Unfortunately some applicants applied on April but they got negative responses from the visa office ..

My application was an individual, no one applied with me. My other friends got rejected before for applying with their family. I hope i hear something good from them soon!
