My study permit was rejected towards the end of July. I had applied for September '22 intake, Georgian @ Ilac College, Course - HRM (1 year PGD).
Reason of rejection - The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

Following is my profile:
  1. 3 years degree in Accounting Finance and Audit, completion year 2017 - 6 CGPA
  2. Immediately started working in HR operations entry-level role. Gained 3 years work experience at 1st job
  3. While working at my 1st job I also started correspondence masters degree in Accounting & Finance (length 2 years), completion year 2019 - 55% - I had not shown this academic record as it was overlapping with employment
  4. Started a new role in 2020-2022 as Associate in global HR SSC
  5. Feb 2022 started a new role as HR business analyst (however I have left that job in Aug'22 due to personal reasons and currently job hunting)
  6. IELTS overall score 7.5 with no individual score less than 6.5
I have applied for GCMS notes end of July but still waiting on a response. Some people have suggested me to go for a masters program in HR rather than 1 year PGD and some are of the opinion that my course selection was wrong. I am sort of lost as to what should be my next steps.

I have withdrawn my admission and GIC thinking from financial standpoint. Would a masters program in HR be more suitable in my case especially from visa POV?

Attaching my SOP as well, please let me know if there's some issue with my SOP. https://docs.google.com/document/d/14FE7pjK9z6A9PsxjKyWYmDY_N3Ss2sculk-JOwsGP48/edit?usp=sharing

Order GCMS notes. So you lied on your application and did not include your MBA? How does taking a one year HR diploma help your career in your home country to justify the costs of the program? You need to show that you will be making xx more with a diploma? Your profile looks like you are not a genuine student, and trying to immigrate.

Yes, I'm waiting for the gcms notes, already applied. I have not done MBA but M.com in Accounting. I have no formal education in HR and my knowledge in the field is based on my work exp. due to which I can't get a HR professional role. Hence I want to purse a PGD in HRM which I have also explained in my SOP which I have attached for review.

But why Canada? Some courses may be specific to HR Canadian practices and regulations. How will this help your career? So you still misrepresented yourself by not including your M.COm in Accounting, correct? Do you have an EE profile that IRCC can cross check...assume you included M.Com in your EE profile for points.
