Just wondering why do you guys want the actual extension? If you applied you are on implied status and are fine to continue to study right? I sense a lot of anxiety here which I'm trying to understand. Also you can apply PGWP on implied status. I will probably apply for extension soon and wonder if Im missing something.
Amongst November applicants, there are those:
1. Who extended up to December 2019 + 90 days, which have since passed. Those people have yet to apply for the PGWP in the hope of not being able to work. It is anyone's guess now what IRCC will decide on those applications given their ideal extension periods have passed.
2. Who want to transition to a CO-OP permit like
@meister here, which he needs a valid status for.
3. Who have applied for a PGWP but are unsure what the decision will be or of further delay in that case should their PGWP applications be delayed because their SPs have not being approved. e.g.
@k.karina
4. Who have completed their initial programs but cannot start a new program indefinitely till they get a response from IRCC.
5. Who are apathetic seeing applications approved which were made 3 months after theirs. As with all things IRCC, the slow, random process means you are not sure when or how long your application will remain unprocessed.
Take your pick on any of these that qualify as being "anxious".
