No update as yet but my friend who applied on the 22nd got her approval last week Friday.
I used a rep so I’m not able to check if my eligibility started.
Hoping to hear some approvals this week

I have just received my first study permit LETS GOOO, solo July applicant. Good luck everyone hope you all the best

As you never lost your status and applied to Study Permit Extension before the expire date of the original. You and your husband are good to go. Apply, you and your husband are going to go into a new maintained/implied status and can start work immediately.

Here are the timings for my recently approved application, in case this helps anyone out:

Study Permit Extension
Application Type: Single Application (submitted from within Canada)
Application received: 16th August
Review of Eligibility: 15th October
Correspondence Letter/Validity of Biometrics: 15th October
Approval Letter: 17th October
Arrival of Letter in Mail (to Montreal): 23rd October

When I applied, the processing time was 53 days. All in all, it took 68 days.

Did you also apply for a TRV, and can someone advise on when is best to apply and which application forms are the correct ones for the spouse? I am trying to start a TRV application while waiting on my SP and SOWP. It is giving me form 5708 for my spouse which is not a TRV form. Did ANYONE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE?

Also, did anyone get approved lately and can share timelines
