Greetings,
I am a student at Kamloops, BC. I came to here to study bachelors' degree but got a visa for 2 years because my passport was expiring in 2 years at the start of my program. It expired on May 18th, so I have until Aug 18th to get it restored or leave the country.
My university put me on a one-year suspension, meaning I cant enrol myself in any program until Summers 2021, meaning I cannot apply for a restoration because my university is not giving me the supporting document because of low grades.
Now I have two options, I can either have myself enrolled in another university and apply for a restoration based on the other university enrolment letter and do like an 8- month course and come back to my main degree at the same university when the suspension time is over. The second option is to go back home before I receive a letter of removal from Canada and not apply for a restoration of status or Visa in this period. Instead if I just go back home to Pakistan and re-apply for a new study permit when the suspension period is over, Show them good grades and improvement the next time i continue studying. I have few reasons to why I could not get good grades in these 2 years, also I have proof that backs the reasons of low academic grades and I also have made a plan that shows how I will tackle this issue in the future and get even better grades.
What do you advise me to do here?
And, If I choose option number 1, how would that be beneficial, because i have been looking at a few forums here and students who apply for restoration usually get the decision between 5 - 7 months and for those months I cannot work or study, however i'll have to stay in Canada on implied status. I might not be able to study the that course because it starts August 25th and I am sure that I will not get a decision until then.
Please this is a huge matter, a little consideration and help will go a long way. I will always be grateful.

- Get an enrolment letter from a different university and apply for a restoration and wait for the decision. (Considering I will go back to the same uni that I am suspended from at the end of year)
- Go back home asap and apply for a new permit in summers 2021
