You need to be honest with full disclosure. If you intend not to include your sister, did your sister do the same? I know you are trying to avoid question of family tie in Canada but if she fell family information including you, then you should do the same…

You didnt say what program you are applying, whats your profile.. i cant comment further
Thanks your reply Simba, yes she did she included all the immediate family names when she applied for her PR. I applied for an undergraduate degree, I have other things needed to apply for NSE but I’m just worried about the family tie and also using an extended family as a sponsor

When I applied for SP, and SOWP for my wife after I got here, family ties in Canada helped us. My bro-in-law provided us with an accommodation letter. I agree with @Simba112 , be honest and disclose your ties.

Hello everyone, I’m new here.
I didn’t know about NSE route before I applied but I have all the documents for NSE route. I have been waiting for them to send an email requesting for it but they haven’t since April 11th that I applied and my eligibility review has not started yet. Should I send a mail to them telling them that I am eligible for the Nse request or should I just upload MBS. Note that I have already uploaded my normal bank statement.

Thanks for the contribution, do you mean you applied for study permit first and then you provided an accommodation letter with it

Yes, I applied first, without my wife and my son. And in my application I included my brother-in-law’s accommodation letter. Then, when I applied for my wife’s SOWP and my son’s SP, my brother-in-law provided a new letter.

I did the same, I applied myself in 2016 and later after securing apartment unit, we sent application for my wife's SOWP and my daughters visitors. By that time, both were below age of 6 they didn't require study permit but type 10 visitors that allow them to attend elementary. So I attached Lease Agreement, my medical card and confirmation of enrolment from Dean of Graduate Studies from the Uni. They both got approved after 7 weeks.

I think (am not sure) that for elementary grade, SP is not required. Because my friend did not need SP for his 5th grade son. As for my son, I applied for SP so that he can attend 12th grade. Again, I am not really sure if SP is required or not for minor dependents, elementary or high school.

Yes you are right. however if you submit your application as SP for your children, they will issue SP. In my case and by that time, if child is below 6yrs old, they don't require study permit to enter and study in Canada as long as one of the parent has Study or work permit. My two daughters were issued with CASE 10 Visitors Visa that the School Districts here in Vancouver are aware of and it was easy to place them to School. I had extension because my passport expired and again they got same permit even though one was above 6 by that time. I will need to go back and read on the requirement if there is changes for below 6yrs old for informational purpose.

Hi guys, just got a medical request letter for a study permit application. What does this mean? How often are study permits rejected after passing medicals? Thanks.
Pls when did you apply and did you go through the NSE route? Thanks

Good day house, pls can I write IRCC to inform them I want my application to be processed via the regular route and not the NSE or should I just ignore the message.
