Hey guys!, I'm confused ,,, I applied for study permit since June 3, 2021. Till now, I haven't heard from CIC again... I had to defer my admission to September 2022. The last time I enquired, they said it's been processed in Nairobi Office. Pls I need your advice.

For a masters it takes 4-12 weeks to get admission

Good morning @Omofar and all. Trust you are doing well. Thank you for all your advice on this forum. I appeal to all to let peace reign here. I am just reading the exchanges of words here and they are not pleasant.

Anyway, I received my study permit approval on Wednesday and I promised my God to give this testimony to His glory. A member gave testimony on this forum of his 9 days Novena to St Jude and how it worked for him earlier this month. As a Catholic, I also embarked on the same Novena to St. Jude and behold, a week or two after I completed the Novena, the approval came. With God, all things are possible. This is my second attempt after a refusal on the 6th of January this year.

On the comment about low grade or by someone in the comments I read here, admission to schools outside Nigeria is not solely dependent on grade alone. It is combination of factors. However, we lack the information and it take a lot of time to research into all those. That is why we appreciate those dishing out such information for free on forum like this and others. I graduated with a 2.2 in 2006 but had just received admission for a master's degree into one of the public universities in the USA and expecting two others by next month. Unfortunately, I wont be going for any since my study permit has been approved. The message is that we need to do the right thing, get right information and trust God all things.

I hope we are all doing well. As we draw close to the end of the year I have a small announcement to make.

After 3,845 comments on 257 pages of information, this thread has become a very useful resource and encouragement to many. I am proud and happy of what it has become so far. I am happy it has now taken a life of its own to the glory of God and I am no longer required to stir it.

In view of this, this will be my last comment here, I will now be bowing out and moving on to other things. I will also be leaving this industry to focus on my career. How will I do my application. I have long worked hard to get the funds and resources required to submit my application through you by next yr 2022. I was even telling a friend that I have who to recommend to him next yr that is strong in the field. With all honesty, I am in shock and heart broken to see this mail from you.. why now our guru? I can't find a better hand to handle my application than you. I have paid 25k out of 33k cad tuition and will complete it the 33k by next two weeks. Next will be saving for living expenses, which I need two months to save enough.. I have masters offer for sept 2022. Omofar pls reverse your decision, we need you more here

Hello everyone, I just got my LOA for September 2022 from Humber college, when is the right time to start up my visa application?

I would appreciate some advice please. I submitted my visa application earlier in September for postbaccalaurete diploma in health care management at Cape Breton university. Although I submitted more than enough using my mum as my sponsor. I didn't pay any fees because I was applying to northeastern university supported by mpower. I got the admission at this university, got my loan approved by mpower and paid the tuition deposit for the new school. The issue now is should I raise a web form and add these new documents ( new admission letter from northeastern university, loan approval letter and tuition deposit receipt) to the existing application or wait till a decision is made and proceed from there.

N. B my bachelor's was in health information management. Cbu is pbd in health care management and neu is masters in regulatory affairs.

I need some advice please.

Wait till your visa is out. Travel to Canada, get your study permit printed at the port of entry, then write to IRCC requesting to update your study permit.

Write to the university. Someone in the university is in good position to give you that answer
