There was an update for me and my wife at the same time, and we both received Correspendence Letter and Original Passport Request messages.

Hey, people. I didnt get the email above. I have AIP. How do you think, if we didnt get it, does it mean rejected for the next stage?

Just got another ghost update. Starting to believe these updates are just a glitch since nobody at the embassy would work at this time

how come they start to send approval to applications in July and August and didn't response to April and march applications!!!

Hi all,

I have a quick question although I might have missed very informative threads in this forum. For 2020, Quebec province determined that it is necessary for two adults to have 19k in total to be able to live for 1 year in the province. I have 35k funds from which I will pay 18k for my tuition fee. So, I have 17k for my and my wife's living expenses. I have to show in my wife's application an extra 2k CAD but is it enough? How much should I exceed that threshold? Shall I show as much as I can? Is there a certain amount? Thank you very much in advance.

my situation is like you, i am around 5k short, i guess it's fine , financials are not only the money in the bank account, they want to know if you can pay your expenses and other than the money in bank account they can understand that from other things like your parents jobs or your car or your house or anything that suggests that you can cover yourself
