My husband got his work permit at the border at Niagara Falls. They told that they could not issue a study permit at the border so we have to apply at Vegreville?? Lead time there is 75 days which means that our son who's in high school will be home until after summer. Anybody experience with that? Or can I apply in Vienna although we live in Canada but still have our Dutch nationality? Thanks for your reply.

1. They should have issued the study permit at the Border as your spouse (assuming your son was with him) was issued a work permit.
