study permit after 2.5-3 yrs experience ?

Hi guys,
I am planning to go for PG diploma course in Manitoba (Red river collage). I passed my B.E. in 2010 and since then am working as a software developer. When I contacted agent for study permit, he said that chances of getting visa are less because of the gap of two-three years. Is it true? Should I drop my plan? Any help will be appreciated.

i was working in an industry from march 2010 resigned few days ago aftr visa
i was free from june 2009 to feb 2010
i got visa in 4 working
if u did smthng during gap there is no probe

visa stamped 27 dec 2012

Hi buddy!!

There will be no problem of getting visa after having experience for 3 yrs. Even I have 1.5 yrs experience with Btech in EEE, going for PG diploma in electronics. Got visa on 10th december.

I have also heard in this forum, some guys have study visa with 6 and 4 years experience in multiple companies.
