I recently got my Study Permit for Fall 2019. I was lucky to get it in 10 days under Non-SDS. Maybe because I applied early.

B.tech in IT 70%
7 years experience in Digital Marketing
8.5 on IELTS
Got admission at McGill University in an Arts Masters course. I noticed that people often post queries here but there are seldom posts with a follow up on what happened. And there are not many who post the complete timeline of the process.

paid caq amount of 114 dollars 31-Jan-19
Booked IELTS slot for 14 feb 4-Feb-19
Sent CAQ docs by courier to Montreal 5-Feb-19
IELTS exam 14-Feb-19
Created account on VISA Canada 19-Feb-19
receipt of docs at CAQ 20-Feb-19
received CAQ digitally 23-Feb-19
Found mistake on CAQ. Called MIDI 23-Feb-19
Call 2 to Midi. File under review. Asked to call back on Thursday 25-Feb-19
Submitted amount for GIC at HDFC bank hitech city branch 26-Feb-19
Got IELTS results. Scored 8.5 27-Feb-19
Gave medical exam at centre for migration medicine 27-Feb-19
Got confirmation from HDFC on successful transfer to Scotia 27-Feb-19
Submitted letter of explanation and passport copy to MIDI for correction CAQ 28-Feb-19
Received updated CAQ by email 4-Mar-19
Received IELTS scorecard by post 4-Mar-19
Received GIC confirmation and Investment Direction 6-Mar-19
Received Admit letter from UofT 6-Mar-19
Submitted study permit application on Canada website 18-Mar-19
Brother found error on submitted 1294 form. Sent in correction via web form 19-Mar-19
Biometrics request receoved 19-Mar-19
Biometrics submitted 20-Mar-19
Got approval email and request for passport on CIC account 25-Mar-19
Submitted passport at VFS Hyderabad 26-Mar-19
"Application is now at IRCC for processing" 27-Mar-19
Received Passport at home 29-Mar-19

Remember guys. The standard processing time is 45 days but it actually depends on a LOT of variable. Just ensure to get your paperwork right. Leave the rest to the good folks at IRCC and maybe some luck.
