Study gap. worried. please help.

Hello members,
I am from INDIA and here is my situation.
My latest qualification is 12th std. with 75% in 2007.

After my 12th std. I was helping my father in agriculture business (I wanted to study further but because of family problem I couldn't study ). We have pretty good agriculture land.

Now I got a opportunity to study a program called Agri business science in university of sasketchwan.

My question is
really this gap is problem for me?

please guys reply me.Really I don't want to miss the opportunity.

GAP is not a problem for any one if it is justified satisfactorily , you can explain ur gap in SOP and apply. Dont worry and as some one said
"The biggest obstacle that stops people from achieving their dreams is the feeling that they are not good enough. Don’t be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality" ,,so I think u should apply right away,and again GAP will not be a problem if u justify it and your university is stronger.

I am nervous because V.O. might think that it was my first major qualification and I was not serious about my study.
Even I don't have experience letter,however I can attach signed letter from my father that I was helping him in our agriculture business.is that enough?

Yes,and also write this in statement of purpose(SOP),tell them that you was working with your father and after completing your studies in canada you will return and takeover your father's business as you will be enough educated to run and take your fathers business to next level after studying from canada.
your future course also seems to be perfect,so go a head. best of luck

I have done my btech in 2017 and I have a gap of 1 1/2 yr .till may 2018 I learnt conputec courses.so how do I justify my gap in my sop for visa.please help me out
