Study Gap For Canadian student Visa.

I have just finished 12th grade a year before. I have a letter of acceptance and Paid fees in Canadian SPP college for an undergraduate 2-year Diploma course.
But I have 6 months study gap and I did not do anything during study gap. I am turning 18 this June and apply for a student visa. Is that 6-month gap can lead me to visa denial? Please anyone can help?

No big deal. Just state why you have a gap and why you choose the 2-year program in Canada in your study plan.

it won't create an issue, state that you prepared for the english proficiency exam during the time.
My brother had a gap of 10 months when he applied for the visa, went by smooth without an issue.

Actually i dropped out of A btech college and my cousin said not to mention that in visa that might cause trouble and questions and I choose this 2 year programme because i found it interesting and Already studied about it little bit during my 12th ! during my gap i've learnt programming but i don't have any certificate for that so thats y it'll be considered as literally doing nothing

Hello actually I got my 12th results on Ending Of 2018 and Joined Btech College and wasn't interested in so dropped outta it (my cousin said not to mention anything about dropping out ) and In January 2019 i started IELTS and in March i got LOA from SPP college.And Matter of fact even if i show College dropout they'd ask for leaving certificate and that old back college would charge me for it !

If you mention the dropout, you need to elaborate and explain why you dropped.
That is your call to mention or not..

Rest if you want to cover up then you can say after completing 12th you spent time preparing for IELTS simply.

Thank you very much for your reply! Can study gap lead me to Visa denial? and one more question is SOP needed for SDS? and if yes then How to convince the visa officer that I'll leave Canada after studying?
