Study Gap after Class 12. Study Permit. Worried.

Hello,

I have been accepted into Algonquin College for Business - Management and Entrepreneurship Diploma (2 Year).

My profile:
10th: 80%
12th: 91% (Commerce without Maths)
IELTS Academic: 8.5 overall

I'm worried about my gap in the education. I have completed my 12th in 2014 and since then have been working in India with 3 companies over the years. Would this be a problem for my visa application?

I did take the gap because there were some family troubles at the time of my graduation that lasted for 2 years. Should I explain this in my SOP?

How much money should I show in my bank account? The program's fees and expenses would be approximately C$ 28,000 per year. Would C$ 60,000 be sufficient?

My future plan is to take over my father's business in India.

Hi

Dont worry about the gap but justify it and show evidence of your work experience. Prepare strong sop. Mention that you will complete the course m furure plan in india. Funds r ok go for gic and show all fund u have. All d best.

I also wanted to know about the Financial statement. Do we have to show my father's bank account? Can't I just show all the money in my own account and not provide my father's bank statements?

Its better u show source of income of your father. So bank statements make sense. Even form 16 or itr. Make sponsorship letter on stamp paper. They need clarity about funds

Brother no issue for gap, if you can give genuine justification. And make strong sop with proper financial documents.
