tormentor congratulation as well as your profile & what are the documents you attached. Was it through consultant or by yourself.

For documents I followed strictly the university checklist. I had full funding from the university so didn't need to show any financial statements apart from some funds in my savings account. I applied on my own through VFS.

Guys,
I submitted everything strictly as per university checklist at VFS Delhi. Plus finance documents like FD, Bank letter, property Evaluation, etc
But people are sying i should have submitted 10th and 12th documents as well.
Can anyone please help me if its compulsory to do so?
thnx

Hi,

I submitted my application for study permit today, however I didn't notarize any of the documents. Will this be an issue?

Please advise. ???

It wasn't specified in the document check list.. so I'm just praying for everything to be alright. _/\_

I got an offer just last week from Ryerson university (Toronto)for Masters program . I have just begun my loan process and heard that it would take a month atleast to complete.

- With just 2 months left after that, is it possible to get both 'study permit' for me and 'open work permit' for my wife?
- I heard that the possiblility of my wife getting open work permit is more if we both apply together
- But the CIC website says that the Study permit processing in my location would take 3 weeks whereas the open work permit would take 4 months
- If we apply together will we receive the decisions together? If "yes " will it then take 4 months for me as well??
- Or is it possible to take my wife along with me through visitor visa and apply for 'open work permit' from Canada

I think that those people who got/applied for their visa before june 1st are not eligible for new rules.

no brother ,,, anyone who got student permit for September intake or who will travel for falll intake will be eligible for new rules after starting of classes :-) everyone will be allowed to work
they have changed the old rule "6 month not working for students "

@ Jazz37

Did you get any update from the consulate. I also applied under general checklist on 26th May in chd and yet to get any response. I should have applied under university checklist but I do not know how to rectify this mistake. I emailed them but didn't get any response.
