Btw rhasan they only took half of what I took with me. Maybe less :S
The study plan, application form, student and family questionnaire, family composition, affidavit, bank statements, tax certificate, employment certificate, birth certificate, police clearance certificate, letter of acceptance from University, Passport and copies (older ones were excluded) and that's it I suppose. I almost missed the statement of assets as he never asked for it :O; but whew it caught sight just in time.
I had like a bunch of docs from my residence and student account that I wanted to submit but he said it wasn't necessary. In the affidavit, I mentioned about an online payment of CAD 600 and I also mentioned that I attached the details; but the VFS guy said its still not necessary :S. I also mentioned my dad's income from this land in Uttara which has been given on rent and I took a notarized copy of the rent agreement but he said that wasn't necessary either :S. I don't get it; is employment and bank solvency the only thing they care about? Does the VO blindly believe in the sources of income mentioned in the affidavit and family questionnaire? If so, I'm confident I'll get a favoring decision on the expected date insha Allah
Why do you think those docs weren't necessary? The only supporting docs for properties were the statement of assets. For my dad's employment, he received a favoring certificate mentioning his position in the company and yearly income. What about my apartment rent and Uttara's land rent? What documents are going to support them? :S :|
