Hi,

I'd applied for Student Visa in June 2017 and today I got the update as refused from High Commission, New Delhi.

I'd applied for "Consulting" Course in George Brown College for Sept 17 intake

Reason for rejection :
Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities or your future prospects or plans.

Current Education - MBA Finance (CGPA 7.4), B.COM (64%)
Work Experience - 10 yrs (Account Management - Sales/Business Development)

Can you pls suggest, why was the Visa refused and what should I do ..??????

First of all, this reason is not unique, however, it is written on majority of refusal letters.
These are broad terms that are given by visa officer to you, regarding your rejection. If you want to know the exact and specific reasons for your refusal, then you should apply for CAIPS notes, which costs $15-20, and takes about 30-35 days to arrive.
Never loose hope, get the exact reasons and try to apply for next intake.
Good luck.

your MBA already covered many of these topics and is more advanced learning than the consulting course. An mba already prepared you for a career in consulting. I would imagine that is why you were refused. The course will not add to your current skill set or improve your career opportunities.

Hi Guys,

As I got refusal so I want to reapply. Is it worthwhile to change program? Before I admitted for WIN program because I am carrying 6 year experience in engineering field but now I am planning for project management program. Here I am thinking that I have already experience in engineering field so it's better to have manager post. After course, I will be qualified for management post. But thing is that will it affect negatively on Visa office thinking?

By the way, I am waiting for CAIPS note report.

you can immigrate directly as an accountant why you are interested to study. your course should lead your career to sell financial products e.g. mutual funds
