Student Visa rejected by Canadian high commission, New delhi

u said that i should resubmit my complete application...should i send another complete application to CHC under general or SPP for May or September intake...

Some people in this forum have suggested that if you are rejected in SPP then you can only apply in General category.

However, this might not be true and the only way to check to to check with CHC, New Delhi. Otherwise, apply as a General candidate asap, you still have time.

I prepared all photocopy, can I submit same Bank Statement as did for before application because I had bank statement till march2011....??

At this time I am going to show Animation was my main studies as my studies at Canada going to be 3D animation ....... and what about BE, this was also my previous studies .... what type of proof can i show for this?? I planed to submit just Provisional certificate and Consolidate mark sheet for BE and Mark sheet, Arena Animation certificate for Animation...Is my idea is correct??

Bank statement can be reissued in few hours. You should submit past 4 to 6 months bank statement.

For BE: Degree or provisional + all sem marksheet is recommended. I remember reading in one of the Chc documents to submit all the mark-sheets and that consolidated marksheet is not enough. I will post the exact source if I get hands on it. Arena certificate would be a nice add on.

I filling up main application under 3rd page - Education category...which one I have to fill-out.....Arena Animation course or BE???....As my proposed studies is Animation I thought to fill out Arena one......because my previous rejection was-

"You have not satisfied me that you will leave canada, because your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualification, previous studies,employment, level of establishment."

Because in previous application I showed BE was my strong studies ... I think at this time showing BE and submitting more document based based on BE, is not advisable to me.

Hi Majith,

With your passport number, dob, and your previous application number CHC will always track the information you had provided in your last information including your BE education details.

I understand and agree with your concern. You best bet would be to highlight your arena multimedia education, and still show that you have a solid background by showing your BE credential. Please also provide a strong SOP with your application stating your interest and previous background in animation.

I believe you are talking about the third page of IMM1294E in which there is only one column for post secondary education. Technically speaking, your BE is a college degree and Arena Multimedia is a certificate course so you should fill BE. However, this is 'my' opinion and I'm not a Visa expert so you might want to consult it with others as well.

If you are providing your resume, you should mention your education/work done in animation area in that as well.

I think you should have a good chance to get visa if you highlight the animation part in your education. Somebody said in another thread that you can file under SPP again (even if you have received a rejection). I cannot deny or accept this fact but you might want to check with a visa consultant for that.

i have asked my consultant that if i can apply in general category but he said it's taking long time and i don't have much time as my classes start frm 9th may and may be needed income tax returns to show them ( as my brother as sponsor ), he said we can bring deferment from college for September intake n apply again in SPP, s there might be a chance to get visa for sept intake...

it won't make any difference whether you apply under SPP or general because your medicals are already

done you are only waiting for your final decision. SO it doesn't really matter. As per guidelines it is said

to go for general if once refused under SPP , it's up to you

if i apply in general category...there is not much time left my classes start on may 9th so they might reject if i applied in short period of time...in general category same documents r required as in SPP, so can i apply in general for visa now as in spp was rejected...

or shall i request a deferement letter from college for september intake n apply in May second week in SPP n if there is a chance to get visa by the end of May...

it's up to you , if ur saying that required candidates are full then go for general only if it's an emergency otherwise go for SPP

Shall i apply for September intake under SPP, some one said that once rejected in SPP u cannot apply under SPP for whole year, is it true or we can apply for other semester under SPP, so how many months before i can apply for visa before class starts is it 3 or 4 months before...

shall i change the course also or shall i apply with same course applied before, because he said in rejection course not related to previous studies n experience...the couse was related to my studies n exp but i don't know why he rejected.

a) Do we need to pay first year's fees in advance?
b) Is that ok If I show my husband or My father in law's bank statments as a proof of fund with my own bank statment
c) How long it generaly takes to get study permit from ND VO?
d) Do we need to show PCC from how long. I mean after 18 all where we traveled for more than 6 months?
e) How long it takes to get admission latter from university?

if u have applied for PR wait for some time u will get PR, it good to go on PR rather than study permit, u know every one is going on study permit just for PR.

u have to show funds in your account and its good to take a student loan

2)general takes 1-2 months i think so
