I have few doubts regarding filing my visa under SPP

1- i have paid first sem fee using my brothers friend Canadian credit card( my brother stays in canada), after paying now consultancy people are saying that i should not use Canadian resources before filing the visa. is there any problem if i pay fee by using Canadian credit card

2- i have written both IELTS and TOEFL, and got offer letter based on TOEFL. on the offer letter it is mentioned that "approved by TOEFL department". now my ques is that can i apply for visa under SPP using my IELTS score though i got offer based on my TOEFL score
