I have no idea why they are not giving approval to those who have already missed a semester. Yes 6 months!!
they requested me medical within 4 weeks and then they had send my medical to dehli medical center and dehli didnt return it back and they are still awaited for my medical results.

I received email about 15minutes ago "Your application has been updated". However, I don't see any change in my application on CIC website...!

They Updated your application yesterday and notified you today. CIC is trolling with us

Okay so my medical status on CIC's website was "We need your medical information" from last two months. But today it is changed to "Not needed at this time". I was hoping to see it to change to "Passed" or "Reviewing..". However, it is changed back to "Not needed at this time". Glad to know that at least something was changed...!

Medical Status doesn't change to Pass or Fail, until decision on your application is finalized.
'Not needed at this time' means they have received your medical and you don't need to do anything about it now.

Just FYI, applying on paper is better in Pakistan..check recent posts in this forum..those who hav applied online in december and january r stil waiting and those who applied on paper (myself included and i personally know 2 others) in mid feburary have progressed to second stage Allhamdullilah...its ultimately ur decision and its just an informed suggestion.

I am still collecting documents and would apply in mid of april. I can send in paper application if that is faster. Do I need to attach a Police Certificate with paper based application as I am not asked for it on my online account?

Yes u do need to submit police certificate with paper application. I am not familiar with online application and y they arent asking for PCC but im pretty sure u ABSOLUTELY have to submit PCC . Maybe they wil ask u later for it. Maybe somebody wd online submission experience can tel u abt it. Yes, last year the case was similar with online applications being processed slower then paper applications. And u stil wld hv to go to gerry's to give biometrics even if u apply online. So y not just print everything out, go to gerry's, submit the app and give biometrics in the same.day?

Guys I have almost done everything from my end. I went to IOM to inquire my medical status and have emailed embassy many times to issue me New Medical request as embassy is saying they are awaited for my medical results from New Delhi since 2 months. My application is not progressing, Is it better to withdraw application and reapply or just wait...

Police certificate is required for online application as well. Eventhough they have not mentioned it in required document list but still do need to send it.
