its only mandatory to pay for 2 semesters and have 6.5 ielts IF u want to apply under SDD or SPP
otherwise you basically don't need to even have ielts to get a study permit since I know many of friends got conditional offer letters from colleges and they are studying English in Canada now WITH study permit .

Oh yeah i was talking about the sds program as i was unaware about the category under which u are applying. So no worries under general category you can submit 1 sem fee and show ur funds.

i have applied 15 April and still waiting and GIC shows we are reviewing your eligibility. Does they make decision on the basis of application number??? i have found that a lot of applicants we applied after me have application number lower than mine and they already got their decision.

I think soo .. coz processing time of general file is more than spp category. However u can take risk but i will suggest you to submit your file as soon as possible.. atleast before 30 june

Guys I have applied for student visa on 6th June through vfs Mumbai and I have not lined my profile

Guys i apply on 1st June and now its 18 days .One of my friend got visa recently she and i applied in banglore embassy .Her medical statua changed in 10 days but mine not . can anyone telle that how it takes them to change my medical status .and yes 18 days with all public holidays and 12 working days .
