Assume you mean 2019. The firsr issus is your finances. Not sure if the 28.4k includes your tuition costs but if you sunlbtract flights for 4 people plus another tuition payment you don't have enough funds to support yourself and your family if neither of you find work. Are you earning a good income in Nigeria. Are you at a mangement level? Your career opportunities won't necessarily change. You may change jobs but the course may not actually lead to career advancement. The fact that you applied with your family leads to concerns you are not a genuine student and that you are applying to immigrate which is the case with many students. The other issue is that there has been very large volume of Nigerian asylum seekers who have entered Canada in the past 2 years. You should really order GCMS notes so you can try and address specific issues. If you apply again and get refused it becomes even harder the 3rd time to convince IRCC that you are a genuine student.

Thank you for your response.I applied alone and not traveling with my family.
The 28.4k balance is excluding the 5.9k I had earlier paid as tuition deposit.

Without GCMS notes we can’t give you exact details as to why you were refused. I would imagine that already having a good job (I assume), IRCC doesn’t feel that this degree will lead to career advancement. More of a lateral move to a different industry.

Thank you Canuck for your response.I am really passionate about the course I am going in for (Business Analytics). There is a dearth of analytics professionals with Domain Knowledge in the Nigerian Financial industry today,my current job role involves the development and management of loan products for Small and Medium Businesses and the certificate will add value to my career tremendously.
I have an uncle that is ready to sponsor me and his account statement is currently 85k CAD he is unmarried.
I want to quickly reapply this week. What are my chances?

You should probably get case notes and identify the reasons for rejection before reapplying. If nothing has changed on your application "significantly", you can expect the same decision from CIC.
Your uncle sponsoring you does not add any strength to your application tbh.
My GCMS notes came in today with the following reasons for the denial
1.Applicant does not appear to be well established and course of study will be a reasonable expense.
2.Plan of study is vague and not well documented

The big issue is that you are married with 2 children and have a good job already. You personally don’t have the funds to study and support your children whether they are are in Canada or Nigeria. A bachelors in finance should have covered a lot of business analytics. You want to spend all of your savings for a program that is unlikely lead to career advancement or a significantly higher salary at home. A father would not spend all that money if he planned on returning home. Most commerce degree students also have learned about business analytics so there is likely some concern about how much the course is actually benefitting you. CIC assumes you want to immigrate which I also assume.
