Hi Guys

Need some advice, me and my husband together with my child are here in uae, i have just got my bachelors, im planning to apply to a university in canada for a masters program as I genuinely want to improve my career profile.

can anyone advice on the process? Or if i apply for students visa at 30, will it be rejected?

There were many international students in my class over 30. One woman was 44. age does not matter.

Age is not the problem at all but applying from UAE as an expat is a hit and miss as you will read through the forums. If you can, better to go to your home country and apply as the chances of getting a VISA is much higher. VO in AUH are very harsh & unfair to expats living here and may not take a sound decision.

Your status in UAE is temporary hence you cant proof strong ties. Also, you have to prove why would you spend 5 times more money and come to study in Canada. Why cant you find the same masters degree in UAE or your home country.
