Good day!
I am a Filipino, and is a Registered Nurse. Me and my family are currently residing in Libya. We applied for temporary resident visa, like I as the student, my Libyan husbang (open work permit) and children aged 3 and 1 as visitors visa. My children has dual citizenship. And we provided both Filipino and Libyan birth certificates.
I applied, accepted and paid almost the two year tuition fee at sterling college in Surrey Campus, BC. My husband is a doctor and currently working in an NGO funded by UNHCR from 2015 and he has two part-time jobs as well as an ICU doctor and teacher in forensic medicine.
We already submitted our online application last December 11,2018. My husband provided his biometrics last December 17 in Tunisia.
My queries are:
1.) Is there anyone here (Libyan) who applied for Canada visa and is accepted?
2.) For how long does the background check takes? Mine and my children were written “NOT APPLICABLE” for BGC, but for my husband, it’s written like this “WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING A BGC FOR YOU”
3.) If ever I am granted a visa, does my family will be granted as well? Or is there any chance that my husband will be rejected? He already provided his Biometrics last December 17 in Tunisia.
We also provided our proof of funds, show money etc. that we are capable to fund ourselves during our study and stay in Canada. Also, my uncle who is a PR in Canada is also my sponsor.
Thank you so much!
