23 August is Hijri New year but 31 is not holiday as far as I know.

We are all in the same boat.. I am waiting since 24 Feb. We can't do anything other than waiting and once the refund or deferal date arrive and we didn't receive answer, , we will have to defer or request refund.

31st is national heroes day. Yeah 1 more week.

Kindly in which section in the GCMS notes we can know where it is stuck if you know?

Something like . Primary office or secondary office or processing centre(s).

This holiday is for Philippines not UAE. Next holiday in UAE will be in October
Oh thats why, i got the notification from phil embassy here. Anyway 31st is the day to inform school of visa result. Let’s hope for miracles in the last 7days

Online applications for study permit are mostly dealt in Canada or other countries. Some GCMS notes have shown this as well, like Ho Chi Minh, CPC Edmonton or Ottawa in Canada as well. You can only know when you order in GCMS if your file is stuck at Abu Dhabi or some place else.

And why there are so many holidays in UAE?
I don't really know if that's true dude .... so many Indians are getting AIP whereas so few people from other countries are getting it. Probably because the Indian Embassy is actually working hard to process as many apps as they can whereas no human in existence can even fathom what the people at the Abu Dhabi embassy are up to.

The primary office is Abu Dhabi and The secondary office in my GCMS notes is operations support center in Ottawa
Your application is getting processed at Ottawa, not Abu Dhabi.

Their applications are getting processed in Canada as well if you look at some applicants AIP / GCMS notes. The reason you see Indians getting too many updates are the sheer number of students that apply from there. 1:10 (1 student from other country v/s 10 students in India), of course it'll feel like only New Delhi or Indian embassies are working.

Really? I knew that the number of Indian applicants was high, but is it really that high? Let's say that you combined the Pakistani and the UAE applicants, what would the ratio be between that and India (Number of Pakistani + UAE applicants: Indian Applicants)? Would that also be as low as 1 to 10?

Look at the %ages on second sheet. That data is for the students that have voluntarily entered info. You can imagine from those numbers. If you look at excel sheets from IRCC about the permits issues, I think they were close to 10x more for Indian students v/s Pakistan.

Then, It is stick there since 28 Feb as no changes in my application since then
No. Check the date / time when that info was added. If it's February, then yeah, that's because of Pandemic.

This center is assigned since 2014 as I have already visitor visa.
Ah.. in that case, it is Abu Dhabi at the moment. It may go to Ottawa.
