Likewise, sent additional docs as per their request end of Nov. 2023, only thing that seems outstanding is the security check which presumably is the CBSA taking their sweet time on this. Original application was Aug. 2022. No idea why it would take so long on this issue considering the limited travel outside of their native country by my spouse and her son, and they have been with me in Canada since July 2022, ridiculous.

I hear ya 'bro. It absolutely boggles my mind how long it takes to get these applications moving along. No excuse for this nonsense, especially the lack of communication throughout the process. .

Guys, I have a peculiar situation and would appreciate any insight. Like most of you, I've been in security check for ages( since Feb 2023). Given the lengthy duration, I assumed I was in a comprehensive check and both CBSA and CSIS would be investigating. But I just received my first CSIS notes and it mentions they have no record under my name. I assumed c-checks involve both CBSA and CSIS. In my case, it appears only CBSA is involved. Any idea why so?

Hmm, what do your CBSA notes say? Mine was cancelled and restarted back in December which was also a bit unusual
