Stuck On Security Check

I have been in security check since Nov 23. It has been over a year !! I'm wondering is there a timeline for that at all ??? are you cleared or still in security check ? This is frustrating.

I got my portal 1 already, order gcms notes from CBSA, then you can decide to go for writ of mandamus

I got the GCMS note in Aug23. It is a 10 pages long file.

how do i determine whether to go for mandamus or not ? Eligibility and criminality are passed but it says security is still in progress.

After your application is approved, you will be sent to the queue for landing, if you are inside of Canada, it will be virtual landing, there will be portal 1 and portal 2 sent to you

So you are counting the time period from the date you have submitted the application or did you find any security start date from your notes?

From security started. It started on 10 March 2023, then nothing happened after that.

I am AOR Aug 26, 2022, having passed all stages except security which is in progress since Jan 24, 2023.

I’m stuck at info sharing since October 2024 , all the other step completed (eligibility,medical,criminality) security left will start when info sharing is completed , I’m really confused what does it takes ages for this

I am really confused , so so confused as well . I'm stuck only in security check since April 2024 and haven't any process until now. So sad!

How is the related to CEC? PGP processing is estimated as 33 months so not surprised there is no movement. Follow the PGP posts for better idea of processing times for others applying for PGP from 2022-24 which are the majority of applicants still under processing. PGP is not a priority for fast processing since in rarely leads to economic benefit and is facing a reduced yearly quota.
