STRIKE AT NEWDELHI VISA OFFICE DELAYING PROCESS , LMO EXPIRING SOON

HI, Quarax and everyone,
please help me in following situaton, i have recd LMO from canadian employer and applied for visa in Newdelhi visa office, Due to the strike my visa application is still in process and havent asked for Medical, LMO which i got has expiry date on it august 22, and as per my knowledge if i dont get work permit lmo will expire, and my employer need to apply for new LMO.( which he might not apply again and iwill loose an opportunity )
Please advise me what should i do? i had applied for visa in the month of march, its been 5 months.....please please please help

“The LMO expiry date does not affect the processing time needed by CIC after the LMO is submitted with a WP application. The WP may be issued after the LMO expiry date, as long as the application was received before the expiry date.”The most significant change this operational bulletin states is that the visa offices are no longer accepting the application method called “concurrent processing”.



No problem. you submitted the application before the lmo expire so just wait!!!

Hello mahim,
Even my LMO has been expired. I'am April 2013 applicant and my LMO was expired on June 3rd 2013 , however looks like they have processed my application and have received email for my medicals on 26th August 2013. So don't lose hope. Fingers crossed , Cheers !
