its completely ur discretion. I am taking help of my consultant because, i am working and am new to the city am currently staying at . . but frankly speaking, i spend almost 4-5 hrs on research for Universities frm offce..
anyways u have to do ur share of research to be on safe side..Agents ll help u getting the docs right and getting them notarized and all. Google is the best agent as per my experience :D

I am sharing my plan:
I have a 3 year bachelors so am going for a 1 year PG and simultaneously preparing GMAT to hit the universities and scholarships.
If am lucky enough and get job after PG and if am able to get a PR, i ll be considered as a domestic student, scholarships availability for PRs would be more + the cost of study would be less..
and my back up:: My hubby filed for PR :P..so if not that then this ..but ll do masters once am a domestic student..

hope things move as per plan for all aspirants

Brilliant! Thats exactly similar to what i am planning :D will use the PG diploma like a entry to canada.. ;D Will look for a job after the diploma (hopefully i'll get one, coz i have exp..) and then take up an Executive or part time MBA from a university. Does this sound good?

Yea.. i'll probably go for a consultant in india.. also i am in a fulltime work (in bangalore, India) Cant pull of things on my own..

Yes I do agree google is the best for research.. ;) hope things go the way we want :)

Hello Jigar

There is no specific age for SPP. If u have supporting document to prove that during the 5 years break , u were not ideal, the problem is solved.. People who hav 10 years of gap have applied too in SPP..
So just chill and dont listen to the agents ..check on the CIC website to be sure.

ALL the BEST

Hi,

I am an engineer with 3 years of experience. Please provide your review on my profile and best course that suit me.

10th: 74%
12th: 60%
B.E. (mechanical): 60% (VTU Bangalore)

No Year gaps in studies but, had some backlogs in engineering.

3 years of experience in Marketing Communication, pre-sales and business analytics.
Worked for fortune 500 companies: Airbus(1.5yrs), Aon PLC / Aon Hewitt (currently working here)

Have volunteered for NGOs and organised charity events and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities at both companies.

I am confused which course to choose. Since i am good with analytics want to do a Co Op PG diploma in information science and analytics from george brown, but i am also interested in the strategic marketing (coop) because of my background in marketing..

Please help me making the right choice, if things go well i'll apply for the Jan 2015 intake.. but i dont mind waiting till sept 2015 intake. Does applying in jan or sept make a difference?

- Thanks Karthik ;)
