Honestly, it's not rocket science to fill out the profile. Especially with help from this forum.

I don't get why I'm seeing so many posts about people having to decline their invitation because of wrong info provided.
Like seriously, if you can't even read and understand how to fill in dates for work experience (for example) you shouldn't be applying for express entry.
God damn it!

It's ridiculous, you can't be that desperate to get an ITA just so you have to refuse it. Stop wasting other people's time and opportunity.
CIC really needs to put something in to filter out these stupid people or "people that act stupid".

Hey dude I knw u must be getting frustrated with waiting or not been chosen out of the pool

But we all are here for our own greater good first

Most people who declined ita either could not provide verification needed as per cic standards for their foreign experience or due to change in conditions after getting ita but before submitting your application
I received an Ita while I was waiting for my regular pnp aor and medical
And asa I got it I declined ee ita cause it no longer mattered
Sorry I know it was a waste of an ita but with cic no one wants to take a chance
Cheers

@branded_man that I can completely understand. I'm speaking about the people who have zero logics and cannot follow instructions. I refuse to believe that they can't read. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they should be literate considering they got an ITA to begin with.

Also, it's common sense - with every application you submit to CIC, there will be a request for PROOF or else CIC would be accepting ALL applications without having to review it. That being said, of course if you want to claim you have 10 years of foreign experience, you will have to prove to CIC that you have worked for 10 years.

I'm just saying, stop providing false info (you know it's false hence you didn't accept ITA right away and is coming back to the forum to try and clear your conscience of it by getting some form of reassurance from other forum members)..

its not always that simple buddy, some people want to apply in CEC but they get nominated for FSW and vice versa... secondly some questions are really misleading like in my scenario in the work experience it asks for employers address but the thing with me was that my employer was in Canada i was getting paid in Canada but i was in USA for them for training and development so i am still confused what address should i put in will it count as Canadian experience as all the T4 slips will say i was working for the Canadian employer....secondly the experience duration thing since it only looks at month i am one month short still but system has already given me points for 1 year experience and made me eligible for CEC.....things like these makes you go nuts and make people reject there ITA's for now definitely no one enjoys rejecting it as it is such an important thing for all of us.....

Oh! YOU'RE the person I saw an answer for, but then couldn't find your post. When I was filling out my documents for PR, it clearly considering 'trainings' as something you would put down as TRAVEL, not as living outside Canada. That is, if you were working for a Canadian employer, it was clear it would accept that as Canadian experience, with travel to the US for training.

CIC really needs to put something in to filter out these stupid people or "people that act stupid".
It is true that some people, especially those who got FSW invitations, discovered that they could not document all the work for the past ten years that CIC wanted them to document. Now that everyone knows what is involved, we should be able to avoid that. BUT I was a little disgusted myself at people reporting that they declined invitations because they didn't have the funds yet that they had said they had, or because they "suddenly realized" their NOC code was wrong, etc. I also thought some people who declined FSW in hopes of getting the easier CEC invitations were taking too big a chance - and that lying on their EE by lowering the amount of money they had, etc., was not too bright. I know there were some legitimate reasons to decline invitations, but it did seem for a while that most people were doing it because they had felt free to lie to inflate their points, and were now suddenly afraid of being accused of misrepresentation and being banned from Canada. And others did it because they were sheep and believed the untrue things written on this forum, like that you had to have had your PoF money for six months before applying.....dumb.

They should put rule like your profile will be on Hold for 3 months if you reject ITA
Sooner or later they will do something like that due to the high number of declined ITA(s).

Not fair because their system is full of glitches. For example counting 11 months of experience as one year and giving points. Unless they make the system perfect you cant put a hold like that

People, How does lowering your funds affects your score? it doesn't. It has nothing to do with your score. We are making some important points here but we are been extreme now. The system just qualifies you for FSW because of amount of funds and its decides which program (CEC, FSW etc) you should apply to. The fact that the system doesn't give the applicant the type of program he desire to apply, the applicant has every right to accept or decline. Give options in the system that allows the applicant to arrange his/her choices of program (CEC/FSW) in order of important. CIC themselves know that there are some issue with the system.

Sorry, I forget to add this. I had BC PNP nomination for 2105 normal stream. I am converting it to BC PNP express entry. I created a EE profile and sent my addendum to BC PNP. I got ITA for FSW on 6th Draw and I declined it because it wasn't the reason why I created the profile. I am waiting for my PNP conversion which will push my score to 1058. I have spent money on PNP and I can't just let it go because I have received ITA for FSW. Now whose fault is this? Me or the system?

I don't think it's fair to say that because the question "Do you have a job offer in Canada" was very misleading because CIC have always stated that an LMIA supported job offer is called a "VALID job offer" so a lot of us thought the question just meant do you have a job because on the same page it asks do you have LMIA and I said NO. I had my funds as $3000 and then got an invitation to apply under FSW. I had to decline it and wait for CEC. A lot of people got caught with that question. It's an easy mistake to make!

Just asking you what would have been different if you accepted the ITA and not waited for pnp points?
I just dont understand why you delayed. Getting ITA doesnt mean the next day they will hand you PR status...they will take their time and they are saying everything will be done in 6 months(we dont have proof of this yet though). Now you will wait for the pnp points because you spent money on it.

I guess our motto is to get the permanent residency status and not with how much points we get it.
Maybe i am missing something.
