I had a hearing on a rejection may May. I still haven't heard a word about our reprocessing. Anyone out there in a similar situation?
Yes, possible but usually very unlikely. Same grounds cannot be used for refusal. Must be a new "legal" (under IRPA) reason for refusal.Fencesitter said:I have a question: if the appeal is allowed, does that basically mean the visa is a guarantee??
Thanks,

Hello! I also had to appeal a refusal.inlimbo said:I had a hearing on a rejection may May. I still haven't heard a word about our reprocessing. Anyone out there in a similar situation?
I also knew of the approval the day of the hearing. Thanks for your timeline. If mine is like yours, this would be the month!edgarsitow said:Hello! I also had to appeal a refusal.
My hearing was on January 9, and they told me on the spot that they would overturn CIC Mexico's decision.
CIC contacted me again on April 29 to ask for extra documents. They gave me a new file number as well.
Remember that the judge has to send a document to your local CIC office explaining his reasons to overturn the decision, this might take a bit.
You should probably hear something this month
