STILL NO DECISION

I sponsored my ex wife 8 years ago and now sponsoring my current wife. My application was sent on Oct2015 and I just got my SA Jan2016 it took 94 days before I got the SA. The officer told me that the cause of delay is they need to make sure that my ex didn't collect any welfare during the time of my undertaking.

It's been 110 days and still no SA here

Email but nothing. I didn't get AoR via email either. I just happened to check online to see they had it. I've checked spam etc (and I'm receiving other emails from them - like when you fill out the case specific contact form).

Maybe it’s back logged....hmmm does it say decision made on your sponsor side of the application though? What does it say exactly when they started processing...cause you might see they received the file in mississauga on 10.21.2015 but that doesn’t necessarily mean they have started processing it at that time right... Check again...cause I believe to get the sponsor passed it’s around 60-64 days? Double check again... and you have to consider the holidays... stay strong and positive! you will get it soon!

I basically check every morning. It's become like a routine. Sponsor app still says "in process". I've called, I've tried their case specific form but basically nobody can tell me anything. In fact they just say, "wait at least another month". Ugh. So hard to be positive when you're dealing with an organization who pays people to answer phones but not help.

on disability and the checks they did took longer then usual. It was right around 3 months, they
were waiting on social services checks to get back to them to say I am not on welfare.

Did you give them proof of your disability status? I ask because I am also on disability and had no delays at all. But, I gave them a "release of information" form that proved my disability status.

I did give them proof, but social services in Ontario took very long
time to give them the information they requested.

The SA took almost as long as the processing for my husbands PR approval
