Me too! June 2011 Applicant. Buffalo AOR August 2011! Was supposed to finalized with June 12, 2012 interview. It was cancelled and told to wait to be contacted. It's been dead since. Just ordered GCMS.
I think our files all went in this batch transferred by Buffalo(I call that abandoned by Buffalo). Someone has to start looking at it soon!!!

How is this allowed to happen? My interview was WAIVED! It should've been weeks and it should've been done. Isn't there some sort of BY DATE IT WAS RECEIVED order or something? How are all these people applying in January and landing now?! My file has been sitting in Ottawa since July 7 with no Officer assigned! Medicals expire in two days!

I sent an inquiry to Ottawa on the status of my file at the end of July and still waiting for an answer. Nothing new from CIC, the only word I associate with them is 'waiting'.

I understand, Quince. I have been waiting. Meanwhile I live 2000 miles from my husband. We have been together for four years. Waiting has become over-rated. And still, my choice is to withdraw and choose to never live with him. and that doesn't seem fair. wait... indefinitely. or quit.

husband just talked to MP office again. They cannot help according to them. My choice is now to wait and get new medicals. Nother thousand dollars because they can't pull it together.

They wouldn't reply on inquiry. Did you request notes?
I shall get the notes next month and intend to contact MP if nothing yet by October.
Hope we all hear something very soon.

my medicals expire in 2 days but I was told that sometimes they can extend them, so I'm not going to redo them yet, unless they request it. Otherwise, I'll have to re-do not only medicals, but also my police clearances, as they're all expired now.
