Hi everyone!
I was looking into how long it would take to process the PR and I had a question that I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere. Let's say I apply to the NTPNP or the SKPNP (just to name two of the ones that allow NOC C or D), get nominated through one of those programs and then apply for PR. I've read that the processing time for this second part usually takes about 12 months. Now, my question is: would I have to stay in SK or the NT for those 12 months while CIC processes the PR?
I know that the PNP is set up so you stay in the province where you applied after you get the PR, but would you have to stay in that province while CIC processes the case and has not yet given you the PR?
I'm just curious because I wanted to know if going to another province/leaving the country while CIC processes the case could negatively affect CIC's decision
Thanks!
