The times posted on CIC site are not averages, they are more worst-case times for 80% of the apps, meaning vast majority of apps are processed quicker. A more "average" time for CPC-Ottawa is in the 6-8 month range.I see the processing times for outland are quicker for assessing the sponsor, it says 48 days as of today but when assessing the applicant (me) it states 16 months so it seems to still take some time.
