Do my spouse and I need a statutory declaration for our marriage for Canadian immigration?

statutory declarations are only required for commonlaw partners. if you are married, you do not need to provide one. if you're applying as commonlaw, you need it.

Thank you !!

However, if you don't have a Statutory Declaration your application will be still accepted for processing.

are you applying as a married couple? if so, no. you don't.

If you're a married couple: No. If you're a common law couple: Check your country-specific documents. Some do, not all.
