Hello everyone,
We are currently completing our paperwork for an outland common law application and are a little bit confused whether we have to sign the Statutory declaration of common-law union (IMM 5409). In the document checklist it tells to sign it if "you (sponsor) has a co-signer and he or she is your common law partner". The way we understand that is lets says my boyfriend was to sponsor his family member and I were to co-sign to kind of secure his sponsorship, this is when we have to sign this form, correct? Or do we have to sign that anyway if he is only going to sponsor me as his common-law partner?
Thanks a lot in advance!
