Status removed from ECAS

I think I feel better with ECAS gone altogether. One fewer useless website to check. I'm not too sad about not having access to it.

I agree. What I really want is a PPR. DM does not mean PPR, so I am waiting on that email more than anything...

I raised a CSE for ecas on 26th November and they got back to me on5th December that they are looking into my inquiry.

I'm an April applicant and now I can't track my PR card application to see if I'll get it soon. Really need it because I have to leave Canada for a day or two. Ugh. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Earlier good number of PPRs were being issues but these days we just see 2-3 PPRs in a week. It seems issue coz of unstable system. It seems to be a technical fault.

I don't think the speed of issuing PPRs has anything to do with this technical issue of ECAS.

I don't know....there's definitely been a huge slow down since this started happening. But then again...we've also had the election which I figured would cause delays and the Syrian refugees having to be processed I'm assuming would cause delays as well. But not sure...CIC's been tight-lipped about what's going on but there's definitely been lots of problems with their systems. I'm sure if it's affecting us then it has to be affecting them as well.

I kinda feel bad that he didn't win in his riding - I watched an interview with him and it felt like it was more about the "real change" wave than about him. Not that I know that much about Canadian politics, voting Canadians would know better, obviously.

Just curious. Which address did you put for the mailing address of PR card ?

My PR application was received by the CIC on the 22nd of Nov and the medical was passed around on Dec 2nd. I still can't get access to my ECAS !! How long does it take?
