Status changed to "Decision made"

Hi,

I have checked the status and found it is now "Decision made".
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


I am not quite sure what I need to disclose to get some help from you all.

NOC: 1111
Application received: Dec. 19, 2011
Started processing: May 7, 2012
Med. requested: May. 8, 2012
Med. done: Jun. 1, 2012
Passport requested: Aug. 2, 2012
Passport sent: Aug. 3, 2012 (Copy of passport sent as a citizen of Visa exempt country to visit Canada)
Decision made: Aug. 17 or Aug. 20, 2012

I have read many comments regarding "decision made". However, there are so many nagative comments about this.

Did anyone have same processes as mine and what was the result?

What would be next steps?

As many people feel, I am a bit worried and nervous.

Dont worry man. 99% sure you got it, just wait a few more days and you will get your passport back with the Confirmation of PR! Congrats.

My status changed to "Decision Made" about two weeks after they received my passport.
Just so you know, the wait time for me from the day they received my passport till the day I received my passport back in Xpresspost envelope took 6 weeks in total.
You should have your passport back by mid of Sep

Well, as I indicated, I never sent my passport, I sent a copy of passport. I'm still wondering if it will take that much of time to get stuff from CIC.

It's really great you saw 'Decision Made' under your application status online. I really hope everything goes well for you and you get your PR ASAP. We all know the hassle and the time and effort and peace of mind involved in this process.

However I also got a Decision Made online and had given my primary contact as email. So I got all excited about the fact that a decision was made, assuming it was a good one. But then I got an email and it was rejected. Never saw that coming.

I really hope everything goes perfectly but just giving you a heads up that decision made could be any decision unfortunately.

Are you a June 2012 applicant and you see that "Decision Made" online?
Did you got your AOR and medicals request before you see this status?

Hi Ganesh,

I applied in October 2011 and got the reply on may 4th 2012. I got the AOR through email first. So I got all excited and started checking the website to see if there was any update of status. A few days later the status was updated to 'Decision Made' . It didn't say what decision.
The next day I got an email explaining very generally why my application was refused.

I re-applied again in June 2012. There is another thread for June applicants, you can join there to track the progress if you're a June applicant.

Hi Ssparkles,after reading your case I got really scared now,you right decision made can be anything,I just wish everybody good luck here because it is really hard to go through all this stress and in the end you come out with empty hands.
