I too need certs for IL and MI .I already submitted my CIC .Reached on March 2 ,2009. Grrr.. i did not know the requirements then ..

I will call the Michigan - records department and find out more info ..

They want a finger print taken in the local police station and a check for $ 30 for Criminal Record division .
The officer said that i should get the cert in 2 weeks.

It is mandatory to get the Finger print on FBI finger print card FD 258

Are you talking about FBI PCC or MI PCC ?

Do we have to use FBI finger print card even for MI PCC ?

Can i use attached (scanned) copy for finger printing ?

When I spoke to MI police, the lady mentioned to have fingerprints taken on FBI fingerprint Card. I guess, they won't take fingerprint cards issued by other states.

Correct me if i am wrong ,

Take FBI card , get the finger print from the state where you are and then send the card to MI for PCC

Can we use the downlodable card from FBI website

You could get FBI fingerprint cards from Police or private cos. May be you could use the downloaded form but I would prefer to use the printed form.

Currently , i am in North carolina , went to local county police department and got my finger prints on FBI CARDS and not on state cards ( i am not sure if you are refering to MI state card or NC state card )

is that ok ?
