So since CIC changed the rules a couple months ago, does every FSW application need to have a LMO? I am a Canadian small businesses owner and would like to sponsor a friend for PR. I work in construction and my friend has an engineering degree.

Is my first step to advertise for a month and then get the lmo?

Just starting. Any tips appreciated

whats the meaning of your title?
I am just beginning the research on how to successfully sponsor and hire a friend of mine to work for my construction company.

Just realized my profile still contains all the info from my wife's spousal sponsorship, which is complete and not related to this inquiry.

Thanks Vats!

I figured that would be the best NOC code to apply with. However, since he will have an offer of arranged employment I don't believe that he needs to apply with one of the noc occupations on the list? Is this correct?
